1. Ramon Dekkers vs. Coban Lookchaomaesaitong

This is the second fight between these legends, and this fight is considered to change the world of muay thai forever.

Coban was holding the title for two long years in a row, but that night all the things have changed.

A new legend has born that night, Dekker has proven himself and write his name with golden words on muay thai history.

From that day Dekker is considered to be the best foreign fighter in Thailand.

And he was the first foreigner to win the prestigious Fighter Of The Year award.

2. Ramon Dekkers vs. Orono Por Muang Ubol

In this fight, both fighters fought with a heart full of respect for each other throughout the entire day.

They almost show equal aggression and both last all five rounds. This is a great example in muay thai when both the fighters were almost completely become equal to another in all aspects.

In the end, Orono won via decision because he was more aggressive in the entire fight, but both the fighters gave their best.

 3. Jongsanan Fairtex vs. Sakmongkol Sithchuchok

This was a brutal battle between two long-time rivals.

This fight is known in muay thai history as the “Elbow Fight”. Both fighters showed beautiful techniques throughout the entire fight.

This was the 5th famous meeting between these two great fighters.

From the second round, their real fight starts they both started throwing brutal elbows, they both were unwilling to stop.

They were very enthusiastic and perseverant throughout their entire fight. So, make sure to watch the whole fight.

4. Pakorn Sakyothin vs Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym

This fight was full of their technical skills and was especially exciting.

This was an exciting fight between two of the biggest name of the muay thai era was on the same ring.

Pakron was a little underdog in front of Saenchai – the long-time Muay Thai World Champion with an impressive fight record.

At that time Pakorn was known for his devastating punches and on the other hand, Saenchai was known for his superior unbeatable technique and speed. In the end, Saenchai won by decisions.

In 2013, Pakorn was named Fighter Of The Year and was also a WBC Boxing Champion.

5.  Poot Lorlek vs Saensak Muangsurin

Poot was Known for his speed and incredible agility and  to fight opponents heavier than him. He was the star of his era (1970-1977).

 He is a personal favorite of Muay Thai World Champion and ONE FC Superstar Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichok.

 In this fight, Poot’s devastating brutal, and accurate kicks to the body and head were what made the judges score the fight via decision in his favor.

6. Samart Payakaroon vs Panomtoanlek Hapalang

Samart Payakaroon was the Mohammad Ali of muay thai, he was virtually untouchable.

This match is a testament to Samart Payakaroon’s status as Muay Thai’s greatest fighter of all time. 

In this match, Samart was keeping their distance with his teeps and continues long kicks with some powerful jabs.

Samart ended this fight with a powerful knockout where Hapalang falling to the floor and swallowing his mouthpiece.

7. Buakaw Banchamek vs Abdallah Mabel

Abdallah Mabel has fought some of the biggest names in Kickboxing and Muay Thai including Naruepol Fairtex, Kem Sitsongpeenong, Saiyok, and Giorgio Petrosyan he was still no match for the intensity of Buakaw. 

Throughout the whole fight, Abdallah was overwhelmed by Buakaw’s aggressive combinations and powerful teeps.

Buakaw is considered to be one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters because of the international exposure he’s given to the muay thai sport.

8. Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn vs Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym

Namsaknoi “The Emperor” Yudthagarngamtorn is known for holding one of the longest reigns of any Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion in history.

In this fight, Namsaknoi truly lived up to his name by showing his in-depth knowledge of all Muay Thai’s weapons.

Both of the fighters showed awesome technical courage during the fight.

9. Sagetdao Petpayathai vs Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym

This was the fourth time both fighters met in the ring.

Saenchai with his strength and speed,  and Sagetdao Petpayathai, an aggressive fighter with both a Rajadamnern and Lumpinee title.

In their previous fight, Petpayathai had lost to Saenchai via decision but in this fight, Petpayathai was able to successfully redeem himself.
